"As students prepare for the end of the semester, University of Kentucky Parking & Transportation Services is making their to-do lists a little shorter by offering free transportation from campus to Blue Grass Airport.
The Home for the Holidays shuttle will operate Tuesday, Dec. 11 through Friday, Dec. 14, with daily campus pick-up times of 6 a.m., 8 a.m., 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Students should plan to leave campus at least two hours prior to take-off.
To schedule a pick-up, e-mail the following information with the subject “Home for the Holidays Shuttle” to ukparking@lsv.uky.edu at least two business days in advance:
* Name
* Campus address
* Campus phone number and/or cell number
* Date, time and location of campus pickup
A representative from Parking & Transportation Services will call to confirm a pickup time and convenient location.Students must make their own arrangements back to campus. LexTran’s Airport/Keeneland Express runs Monday through Friday and drops off at the Vine Street bus terminal. Fare is $1. PTS Offers Shopping Shuttle for Students This Sunday...
Parking & Transportation Services, in cooperation with Student Government, will be providing free transportation for students between the UK campus and Fayette Mall on Sunday, December 2, from 12 noon to 6 p.m. By offering the Holiday Shopping Shuttle, PTS hopes to make transportation convenient for students who do not have cars on campus and for those who want to steer clear of holiday traffic.The CATS bus will pickup and drop off passengers on the north side of the mall at the entrance to Macy's.

The weather is to turn cold this weekend. International students in need of coats, hats, and scarves are welcome to check out the Lending Closet in the Office of International Affairs. Please stop by Suzanne Anandappa's office in 202 Bradley Hall from 9:00-12:00 tomorrow if you need help finding the Lending Closet. Our offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday this week for the holidays.
