Holiday Shopping!

PTS Offers Shopping Shuttle for Students This Sunday...

Parking & Transportation Services, in cooperation with Student Government, will be providing free transportation for students between the UK campus and Fayette Mall on Sunday, December 2, from 12 noon to 6 p.m. By offering the Holiday Shopping Shuttle, PTS hopes to make transportation convenient for students who do not have cars on campus and for those who want to steer clear of holiday traffic.The CATS bus will pickup and drop off passengers on the north side of the mall at the entrance to Macy's.

Free Winter Coats Available in Lending Closet

The weather is to turn cold this weekend. International students in need of coats, hats, and scarves are welcome to check out the Lending Closet in the Office of International Affairs. Please stop by Suzanne Anandappa's office in 202 Bradley Hall from 9:00-12:00 tomorrow if you need help finding the Lending Closet. Our offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday this week for the holidays.

Thanksgiving Airport Transportation!

Parking & Transportation Services Offers Free Airport Shuttle

Parking & Transportation Services is helping students reach their Thanksgiving holiday destinations by providing a free shuttle to Bluegrass Airport. The shuttle will run Monday, November 19, Tuesday, November 20, and Wednesday, November 21, with daily campus pickup times of 6 a.m., 8 a.m., 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Students should plan to leave campus at least two hours prior to takeoff.To schedule a pickup, email UKParking@lsv.uky.edu with at least 48 hours in advance (not including weekends) and provide the following information:

* Name
* Campus address
* Campus phone number and/or cell number
* Date, time, and location of campus pickup

A representative from Parking & Transportation Services will call to confirm a pickup time and location. Students must make their own arrangements back to campus. LexTran’s Airport/Keeneland Express, which runs Monday through Friday and drops off at the Vine Street bus terminal, can be found at http://lextran.nextinsight.com/routes.php?mrnid=27. Fare is $1. American Taxi (859-381-TAXI) accepts UK PLUS accounts, and charges approximately $16-$20 for cab fare from Bluegrass Airport to campus.
